🔥 When you have to reinvent yourself
(But you've already burned three versions of yourself this year)
It seems that you have to know how to die in order to be reborn.
It's very pretty, very phoenix, very Instagram.
But no one talks about the mess it makes in your head when you have to, for the fourth time this year, reinvent yourself , because "the old version of you doesn't work anymore."
Spoiler: It worked great, thank you.
It's just that the world has decided that you need to do even better , even more , or even faster . And that, if possible, you change your niche, your look, your tone, your products, your prices, your marketing, and your personality. Otherwise, you're a has-been.
🌒 Reinvention: this spell is a little too fashionable
Everyone is talking about it.
“You have to evolve.”
"We must align ourselves."
“Your version 3.0 is waiting for you.”
But no one tells you what to do when:
-
you are exhausted;
-
you have no more ideas;
-
You feel like you've already transformed 12 times since the last full moon.
Because yes, reinventing yourself, in theory, is powerful.
In practice, it's often a major existential crisis under caffeine .
What are you doing? Changing your font? Relaunching a new offer? Deleting your Instagram account? Becoming an astrologer/energy coach/craftswoman/minimalist digital witch? (Cross out the ones you've already tried.)
I've experienced this more than once.
And each time, I had to learn not to throw myself out of the window of my own cauldron.
🕯 Fatigue of the old version
Sometimes you don't choose to change.
It is your sacred fire that is going out.
Your mojo that says: "Hey, I'm off, call me back when you've stopped working like a maniac."
And there you are, facing the void.
The old version of you, the one that worked well, that had its little routines, its sales, its posts, its rituals... doesn't look like you anymore.
No matter how hard you try, no matter how hard you light all the candles in the shop, nothing works.
And that's where it stings.
Because you no longer know who you are , nor what you want to sell, nor if your art still has a place.
You doubt. You go around in circles.
You compare. You feel guilty. You scrollexorcise (that is, you scroll through Instagram hoping to exorcise your discomfort. It never works.)
🌕 And then one day, you wake up
And you understand.
You're not the one who's useless.
It's your old version that did its job.
She held on. She carried you.
But now it's worn out.
And you have to let her go.
Not to burn it in a big fire of rage, eh.
Thank her. Honor her.
Write him a letter if you want. Give him a black candle and a tear.
And then, slowly, imagine what happens next .
But not the perfect sequel.
Not the "woman lined up with her million euros in passive protest" version.
No.
The real you . The witch who does her best with her ups, downs, rotten humor, kitchen rituals, and urges to throw everything away every other day.
🧹 Reinvention does not mean denial
Important to note (and to tattoo on the arm if necessary):
Reinventing yourself doesn't mean you've been wrong before.
You were just… in the right place for that version of you.
And now you're ready for something else.
Not necessarily better. Just different.
Reinvention is like performing a magical cleansing ritual.
You don't burn down your house. You open the windows, you clean it, you move the furniture, you get rid of what's holding you back, you light a candle, and you change the sheets.
It's the same with your art.
Your business.
Your offers.
Your online presence.
Your energy.
🧙♀️ So, how do we reinvent ourselves without self-destructing?
I don't have a miracle recipe (even if I have a pretty good spell, available in the shop 👀),
but here's what I do :
1. I isolate myself from noise
I cut off the networks. I go silent.
I return to the source: me, my magic, my desires. Not what I should do, but what I want to create .
2. I create without selling (at the beginning)
Just to find the pleasure again.
A spell, an oil, an article, a visual.
Nothing for sale. Just to live .
3. I speak the truth
Like there. I don't hide the fact that I struggled, doubted, and was saturated.
People don't need a perfect version of you.
They need a living version.
4. I gently restructure
I look at what I have. What I still love.
I throw away what pisses me off. I keep what still gives me fire.
And I start building again, step by step.
🌻 Lili's reinvention: the return of the flame
If you've been following me for a while, you know I've changed.
Of tone. Of formats. Of projects.
I went from the nice witch who just wanted to light candles with you... to a rougher , more lucid, darker version too.
Because I was tired of holding myself back.
Tired of keeping quiet.
Tired of pretending everything is smooth and glittery when sometimes magic is just surviving the day without casting a banishing spell on your ex.
And you know what?
It made me feel good.
My community has changed.
My world has become denser.
And my sales picked up again — not because I made a great conversion funnel…
But because I was on fire again .
📦 Do you want to reinvent yourself too?
Start small.
Do a mini rebirth ritual for yourself.
Light a candle (or three).
Write a letter to your old self.
And ask yourself this simple question:
“What do I want to create right now, here, without strategy, just with my witch’s heart?”
Do you want to make oils?
Texts?
Prints?
Videos?
Boxes?
Do it. But your way.
Not like the others. Not like Lili from six months ago.
In your own way today.
🔮 And if you need a magical helping hand…
You know where to find me.
On the blog, in the shop, in emails, in your dreams.
And in this new energy that I called to me.
I have boxes that will help you be reborn, oils to set you alight, rituals to reset everything (even your ex, if you want), and a vision of the sorcerer's business that embraces shadow, doubt, and power.
Because true reinvention is not about becoming someone else.
It's about becoming even more you .
💬 And you, tell me…
How are you doing with your molt?
Do you feel the change coming?
Are you already on the edge of the void?
Do you want to burn down your website and move into a yurt with your cat and three sacred plants?
Come write to me. Or come talk about it under the post.
We are not alone in going through this.
But we are powerful.
And we are ready.
🖤
Lili, version x+1, always changing, always on fire.
